Events You Cannot Miss!

Fortunately, I had a taste of other events which were not related with the main program, teaching practice. These events made my journey more colorful and widened my knowledge. Let’s check them out!

• Internationalization and ASEAN Celebration

This amazing even was held on September 11, 2019 and was attended by participants from Philippines, Indonesia, India, and Ghana . All the students from Indonesia were honored to present a performance that introduced our beloved culture. Our performance started with Balinese dance called Tari Puspanjali, and then continued with a beautiful glee with various Indonesia’s traditional songs, it finalized with Maumere dance from West Nusa Tenggara. For this last dance, we invited all the audiences to dance along with us and they seemed enjoying it.

• Fellowship Night

On Friday, September 13, 2019, there was fellowship night held at TAU Agritourism Function Hall which was still under the main event, Internationalization and ASEAN Celebration. This event was all about dinner and lit party for everyone, Filipino, Indonesian, Indian, and Ghanaian. There were so many delicious foods served for our dinner and it could not be better since we had it together. After the dinner, we continued the night by singing and dancing. I never thought I would really like dangdut, that nigh was dangdut night and I were proud!

• International Conference

Still under the same main event, on Saturday, September 14, there was International Conference about the Potential of Teachers and Principals to Improve the Quality of Human Resource in an Era of Artificial Intelligence. It was also held at the TAU Agritourism Function Hall. The participants were students from TAU and teachers from Indonesia. I learnt a lot about how to be a teacher who can utilize the advanced technology and it was amazing.

• Cross Cultural Dinner

We had other unforgettable dinner with our friends from India and Ghana which was Cross Cultural Dinner. The dinner was for the exchange students who study at TAU. We had it on September 20, at Farmer Training Center and every country served their national dishes and introduced the dishes to the friends from other country. After the dinner we got to know each other and took bunch of pictures.
